Osula wins Guinness Goal of the Month award

Dane claims award for sensational matchwinning strike for 10-man Newcastle against Man Utd Newcastle United forward William Osula has won March 2026’s Guinness Goal of the Month award for his sensational 90th-minute winner against Manchester United. The 22-year-old Dane becomes the first Newcastle player to win the award this season, and the first since Alexander Isak in December 2024. Osula gathered the loose ball, cut inside from the right channel and produced a sensational curling effort from the edge of the box that left goalkeeper Senne Lammens rooted to the spot. Osula is the sixth Newcastle player to win the award since its inception in the 2016/17 season, with Miguel Almiron the only multiple winner.
