See two different 15-man squads for whether you have all your chips or only the Wildcard left to play The Scout presents two different Wildcard squads depending on which other chips you have left to use in 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League. Option 1) Wildcard GW32, Bench-Boost GW33, Free-Hit GW34This squad caters for the FPL managers who are planning to use a number of chips over the coming period in order to navigate Double Gameweek 33 (DGW33) and Blank Gameweek 34 (BGW34). As a reminder, a “Double Gameweek" is when a club play TWO Premier League fixtures in a round of matches, and their players get two chances to score points. A Blank Gameweek occurs when at least two top-flight clubs DON'T have a Premier League fixture in a particular Gameweek. Following last weekend’s FA Cup quarter-finals, we now know there are SIX clubs who will have both a DGW33 and a BGW34 – AFC Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley, Chelsea, Leeds United and Manchester City. Many managers are planning to play their Wildcard this week – in Gameweek 32 - ahead of Friday’s 18:30 BST deadline, in order to load up on key players from those six clubs who will have two matches in DGW33. By playing your Bench Boost chip in DGW33, you could potentially earn points from up to 30 matches (15 players with two matches), as opposed to the usual 11 in a typical single Gameweek. By then playing the Free Hit chip in BGW34, you can bring in a one-week squad to help you navigate that reduced round of matches. The above squad has 13 players with a DGW33: Brighton, Leeds and Man City each supply three, while Chelsea and Bournemouth contribute two players. So even if you don't have the Bench Boost chip still to play, this Wildcard squad still enables you to attack DGW33. The two exceptions here are Arsenal’s Gabriel (£7.2m) and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes (£10.3m), the top-scoring defender and midfielder respectively this season. Gabriel’s consistency and Fernandes’ high points ceiling suggests they should be a hold for any Wildcard squad. Both have great matches in Gameweek 32, at home to Bournemouth and Leeds respectively, with Fernandes the standout captain pick for this round of matches. Tripling up on Man City should also be a priority for managers on Wildcards, with Erling Haaland (£14.4m), Nico O’Reilly (£5.0m) and Antoine Semenyo (£8.2m) the in-form players. Along with Crystal Palace, Pep Guardiola’s side have eight matches left to play – one more than the other 18 clubs. This is likely to give them ANOTHER Double Gameweek, which is expected to fall in Gameweek 36, as the midweek calendar doesn’t clash with European competitions.Option 2) Wildcard GW32, no other chipsIf you only have your Wildcard left to play, bringing in one or two Crystal Palace players now looks a sensible strategy. Oliver Glasner’s side are in the unique position of having a match in BGW34 AND that potential Double Gameweek against Man City later in the run-in. By having Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson (£5.1m) and Ismaila Sarr (£6.3m) along with Man City’s Haaland, O’Reilly and Semenyo, you would already have a combined FIVE players from those two clubs in place if they do, as expected, get another Double Gameweek. Obviously, the more players you own for DGW33, the less you will have for BGW34, so you need to strike a balance with your Wildcard selection. And this could ultimately come down to the number of free transfers you have at your disposal by the time BGW34 comes around. For example, if you have five free transfers by then, you can go bigger on the DGW33 sides in your Gameweek 32 Wildcard before swapping some of them back out for players who have a match in BGW34. This squad consists of eight players with a DGW33 and seven who have a match in BGW34. If you use your two free transfers by that point to swap out two of your DGW33 players, this gives you NINE players with a match in BGW34.Of course, you don't have to Wildcard in Gameweek 32, with there being other chip strategies to consider.
